Years and years and years ago, my dad would take me to a little thing called 4-H Horse School every year. One year he decided it would be a great idea for us to lead a workshop and teach all those kids how to tie their own horse halter. 😵‍💫

I wonder how many horse halters we made that week 🤪 and I’m pretty sure I was sick of em by the end 😂

My girl got to learn the trade this weekend and helped him make one for his colts he’s selling next weekend. Couldn’t help but smile watching him teach her - he was always so patient (I mean he was a 4-H county agent for all of my childhood.)

He helped raise a lot of kids in those barns over the years. The tradition continues…just like he taught me ❤️
