Bottle service 🍾🕺

Trying hard to find some speed in these legs.
Trying hard to slam @tailwindnutrition and @naakbars gels much faster than normal.
Trying hard to master the bottle grab & hand-off. Sorry I almost fumbled it, @thedaucrew 😅😂 Thanks for making this marathon training a fun team project! 🙌

Comment READY and I’ll send you the link to join us in my current MLAM Full Body, Core, & Pelvic Floor Challenge! 👏

I LOVE that women are talking about core + pelvic floor health more than ever. Seriously!!

But more information doesn’t always mean BETTER information 😅 And y’all, some of the advice floating around the internet is doing women a disservice.

A weak pelvic floor doesn’t just need MORE squeezing. In fact, weakness can stem from tension and bring about symptoms. We need a pelvic floor that can BOTH lengthen and contract!

Your core isn’t meant to be held tight all day. It’s designed to move, expand, contract, and respond to what you’re doing.

Lifting heavy postpartum isn’t automatically off-limits. And getting cleared at six weeks doesn’t automatically mean your body is ready for everything you were doing before pregnancy.

CONTEXT MATTERS 👏

Your core + pelvic floor are part of an entire system. How you breathe, manage pressure, move, and progressively build strength ALL play a role.

And while I love seeing more education being shared, I also want women to be mindful of WHO they’re learning from. Seek out professionals who are educated and trained in this area, who understand the nuances, and who aren’t giving blanket advice that could potentially make your symptoms worse.

That’s why I’m so passionate about teaching the WHY behind what we’re doing. I don’t want you blindly collecting exercises from the internet. I want you to understand your body and feel confident applying what you learn to your training AND everyday life.

Comment READY and I’ll send you the link to join my current 6-week challenge! I’d love to help you build strength while learning how your core + pelvic floor actually work together 🤍
