I said I was stepping away for September, and for once, I actually did it. š
No scrolling. No random thoughts posted in the moment. No feeling like I needed to document every part of my life.
And honestly⦠it was exactly what I needed.
A lot happened over the last month. There were some really exciting changes, some unexpected ones, a lot of stress, and moments where I had to slow down and actually sit with myself.
I also experienced an anxiety attackāsomething I donāt think Iāve ever really been honest about with the people around me. Admitting that I was struggling was uncomfortable, but it also became one of the most freeing things Iāve done.
Because something unexpected happened when I allowed myself to be vulnerable with myself.
I became more comfortable being vulnerable with other people.
I started letting people see more of meānot just the version thatās doing well, figuring it out, making things happen, or having a good time. And in doing that, I found that people were willing to meet me there too.
There were moments this past month when I felt happy, excited, scared, overwhelmed, hopeful⦠sometimes all at the same time.
And maybe thatās what this season is really about.
Not having everything figured out.
Just being present enough to experience it all.
These sunrises were some of the little moments I kept for myself this month. No post. No Story. Just me standing on my balcony, watching another day begin.
Iām coming back to social media, but Iām not necessarily coming back the same person who left.
Iām grateful for the pause.
Grateful for the lessons.
Grateful for the people who showed up.
And honestly⦠Iām excited to see whatās next.
