My mom’s @thejiniga favorite walnut smoothie with extra protein. Women need more protein as they age and a lot of protein powders in the market have microplastics as they are not regulated and tested but I love this protein powder from @ora.organic - been using it for over a year since I discovered how rigorously tested their supplements are. I like to add to smoothies, baked goods, coffee. Comment “protein” below and I’ll send you a link with our exclusive discount. #protein #proteinpowder💪🏼 #oraorganic #cleansupplements

I’m proud to stand with Abdul El-Sayed. I believe in what he stands for, the kind of leadership he represents, and the future we can build together.

Michigan, tomorrow is your moment! Show up, make your voice heard to put people over profits, healthcare over corporate greed, and power back in the hands of all of us.

In May 2025, 22-year-old former missionary Krew Zaugg met a 15-year-old girl. The victim’s family explained that she had recently lost her grandfather and was vulnerable, looking for a friend. Even though she explicitly told Zaugg her age before they met in person, he picked her up and sexually assaulted her inside his locked Tesla.

In court, Zaugg tearfully told the judge that on the night of the crime, he had just broken up with his girlfriend and was desperately seeking comfort. He stated: "I was feeling sad, lonely and miserable. Instead of dealing with those things in a mature and responsible way, I made an impulsive decision." While released on bail awaiting trial, Zaugg reconciled with that same girlfriend and married her.

Zaugg was originally charged with rape of a victim under 16 and lewd conduct with a child. Under a plea agreement, prosecutors amended the charge to felony battery with intent to commit a serious felony, dismissing the lewd conduct charge. District Judge Michael Whyte placed Zaugg on a one-year "rider" program (retained jurisdiction) in a correctional facility. While he carries an underlying sentence of 4 to 18 years, successfully completing the treatment program within that year gives the judge the option to place him on probation instead of sending him to state prison for the full term. He was also ordered to register as a sex offender and maintain no contact with the victim for 14 years.
