In 1946 2 sisters, Sylvia Stead & Vera Hammond, opened Sylvera School of Dancing.
80 years later the school is now run by Vera’s granddaughters, Danielle Elisak & Michelle Pearl
We’ve had 100’s of students over that time with 4 generations of family members go through the school.
From our first shows at the Crayford Town Hall to the Woodville Halls and then The Orchard Theatre we’ve gone through a lot of sequins and sparkle in that time.
Sylvera is a family dance school that aims to make dance affordable and available to all children.
What will the next 80 years bring?
