Desi Lounge ๐Ÿ“464 Bethnal Green Road, E2 0EA @desilounge_official Serving modern Bangladeshi Cuisine with a contemporary twist ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ฉ This beautiful restaurant combines modern, contemporary Bangladeshi cuisine with stylish decor and a welcoming atmosphere. With two floors and space for up to 300 guests, itโ€™s ideal place for nikah, intimate weddings, birthday celebrations, private parties, business meetings, conferences and so much more The restaurant consist of: โ—พ๏ธBeautiful, contemporary interiors โ—พ๏ธPrivate dining room for meetings and special occasions โ—พ๏ธDedicated prayer room โ—พ๏ธA versatile venue for celebrations big and small โ—พ๏ธAmazing, attentive staff who makes the BEST mocktails, I kid you not โ—พ๏ธProudly Bangladeshi owned @desilounge_official brings together culture, hospitality and contemporary dining in one beautiful space. Some of the dishes we tried: โ—พ๏ธLamb karahi was aromatic and flavour packed curry made with tender lamb, and a blend of traditional Bangladeshi spices. Cooked in a karahi style pan, creating a thick, masala sauce with a lovely balance of warmth, spice and savouriness. It was hearty, comforting and perfect with a plate of mushroom rice. โ—พ๏ธThe grilled meats were very well seasoned, with a lovely charred finish that added that smoky, flame grilled flavour. The seasoning was definitely a highlight, delivering a bold Desi style taste. โ—พ๏ธThe shish kebab, however, was average. It tasted more like a ready made, pre packaged kebab rather than something freshly prepared in house, which was a little disappointing. โ—พ๏ธChicken tikka makhani was rich, creamy and flavourful curry with tender pieces of marinated chicken tikka cooked in a smooth, buttery creamy sauce, infused with aromatic spices. The smoky flavour of the tikka pairs beautifully with the velvety sauce, creating a delicious balance of savoury spices, mild sweetness and creamy richness. Perfect with fluffy naan If you visit, do not leave without trying the strawberry mocktail it was ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿพ ๐Ÿ“ Save this spot for your next event! #bangladeshicuisine #indianrestaurants #eventvenues #bethnalgreen londonrestaurants
