A symbolic display of spirit triumphing over matter to awaken humanity. Jesus on the cross is an offering of pure illumination. Unlike the forbidden fruit in Genesis that brought spiritual death, this fruit on the tree of the cross grants life, joy, and a return to the divine source when "consumed" or integrated internally. The Divine Scent teaches that spiritual human beings possess a divine spark that carries the literal "aroma" of the supreme, unmanifest Father. When 🫵the spiritual spark falls into the material universe, we grow "cold" and lose our awareness. Christ’s mission is to act as a catalyst that warms this frozen fragrance. The fragrance of Christ's offering cannot be perceived by physical senses. It is entirely a metaphor for a deep, meditative state of mystical union. To be anointed with Christ’s ointment meant that you physically and spiritually weaponized his fragrance to banish the "bad odor" of material ignorance and spiritual sleep.
