Menteri Agama Nasaruddin Umar menilai fatwa haram Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI) untuk aset kripto tidak bersifat permanen. Menurut dia, status hukum kripto bisa berubah jika unsur ketidakpastian atau gharar dalam transaksinya dapat diatasi. “Bisa jadi hari ini mungkin haram, tetapi kalau semuanya sudah jelas dan tidak ada lagi masalahnya, itu bisa jadi halal,” ujar Nasaruddin di Jakarta, Kamis (15/10). Dia menjelaskan, penetapan halal dan haram perlu mempertimbangkan objek serta kondisi yang melatarbelakanginya. Karena itu, pengawasan dari berbagai pihak, termasuk pemerintah dan ulama, dinilai penting untuk memastikan persoalan tersebut ditangani dengan baik. Kementerian Agama dapat berperan sebagai penghubung antara Kementerian Keuangan dan pihak terkait dalam pembahasan isu-isu tersebut sehingga membantu memperjelas persoalan.
