Jessie, I wish this wasn’t goodbye. I wish we had been given more time, more conversations, more laughter, and just one more chance to see each other. I am so thankful that I got to know you and grow up in the church alongside you and Maddy. I will always be grateful that our lives crossed and that you were a part of so many of my childhood memories.

While there is much sorrow in saying our earthly farewell today, I am comforted knowing you are with our Savior, free from pain and suffering, and resting peacefully in His presence. I hope you knew just how deeply you were loved and how much your life meant to the people blessed enough to know you.

Rest peacefully, sweet Jessie. I am so thankful for the time we were given, and I will carry those memories with me always. You will forever hold a special place in my heart.
