I would immediately get my kid into see a developmental optometrist if this was my kiddo ๐๐ผโโ๏ธ
1 thing I always screen for as a school based occupational therapist who has noticed kids drastically struggling with academics in 2026, is vision.

Any tips on how to help strengthen finger strength for hand writing? My daughter struggles to hold a pencil, and tends to switch to a fist hold instead.

I have had a few students with handwriting goals whose eyes don't team together. Do you have any resources on how to treat that in schools?

Yes! I had a clinical placement where we treated a lot of vision patients and had to educate a lot during IEP meetings
