My cousin picked up this “cherry” 87 3/4 ton 4x4 Chevy awhile back and I helped drag it home. Flash forward a few years and his son is 16!
What better time to get that ol’ square body running than for when your boy is 16?
This truck has fought us nearly ever step of the way getting it back on the road, bolts do not want to come out, needed a new fuel tank, new brakes, etc.
We topped it off with a 4” lift I had laying around, some help with correct u-bolts from @kalanicorn64 and some 34” tires from @bmfm64 and some used wheels from a local tire store - truck came out clean - and seeing Colton’s smile makes rolling around on the concrete to install those front lift springs (almost 😂) worth it! (That reminds me - time to take some more ibuprofen)
A 4” lift and some bigger tires on a 67-87 GM truck goes together like chocolate on ice cream!
Oh - and shameless product plug - this truck is running our Shackle Bracket Tow hooks with shackles!
Colton is already pushing his dad for more Engineered Vintage products for this truck 😂

I don’t think I have ever cut more bolts in my life !! It’s a great starter. Excited to show all the “Ford Kids” what a real is 😂😂😂 Thank you for all of the help, no pass the ibuprofen!!
