JUNGLEKEEPER UPDATE: Footage sent from our rangers on the ground shows that the roads along the northern boundary of the reserve continue to grow. We as an organization are only able to use legal strategies to fight this thing. Whereas the people building these roads are able to continue to slash and burn forest, destroy ancient trees and wildlife, and takeover land they do not own. Starting Monday I will have constant updates for you. We cannot afford any more time. We have to stop this road before it grows. You can see in this video. It looks small, just a dirt track, but that’s how it always starts.

Thank you to everyone who supports the work we do. We are going to stop this. We are going to save this forest.

A little polar bear cub was making snowballs while its mother waited for a seal to surface nearby. Then a seal appeared through the ice right beside the cub, sending it springing to its feet. The two paused facing each other, and the cub’s reaction made a hunting lesson look like the most unexpected introduction.

The moment appears in the BBC’s Snow Bears, which follows polar bear cubs learning to survive with their mother. In this sequence, one cub watches her closely as she waits by a breathing hole, while her brother is busy playing in the snow. The seal surfaces at a different hole, catching the playful cub completely off guard. 🤍
