We took a gamble in TQ which didn’t pay off so we had to come through in the heats. Our true pace shone through with fastest lap in both heats, smashing the TQ pole time set.
In heat 1 we stormed through from P12 start to P3, heat 2 saw us caught in a collision at the start, that would later incur us a 10s penalty - very questionable. So the final would be an interesting prospect with the pace we had.
Unfortunately the final didn’t go to plan, just like the day in general and we didn’t get to climb the field due to damage incurred from heat 2 and some technical gremlins. But, we go again - next up, British Champs at Silverstone.
