#NEWS: Drake is pushing back against a lawsuit accusing him of stealing the chorus of his hit song. His legal team is calling the allegations completely false and accusing the plaintiff of trying to profit off the rapper’s name. Producer Aviel Calev Hirschfield, also known as Avi, filed a lawsuit Friday claiming Drake copied the chorus of his song “Janice STFU.” Avi alleges he provided audio files with timestamps to support his claims but was never given credit or a share of the profits. Drake’s representative strongly denied the accusations, calling the lawsuit a baseless attempt to gain money and attention. The rep also insisted Drake wrote the song himself and has no connection to or knowledge of the producer.
