Kolkata: Bikes Skid On Newly Painted Flyover After Rain, Raising Safety Concerns Several motorcyclists reportedly skidded and fell on the newly painted Chingrighata flyover in Kolkata on October 14 after rain made the road surface wet. A dashcam video of the incident has gone viral on social media, raising concerns over road safety amid the city's beautification drive ahead of Durga Puja. The incident has sparked questions about whether the paint used on the flyover reduced tyre grip. West Bengal authorities have ordered an investigation to determine the cause of the skidding and identify necessary safety measures. Officials have also begun taking precautionary steps to reduce the risk of further accidents. Disclaimer: This video is being used strictly for news and informational purposes only.
