We had a great time at @fishkillfarms in Hopewell Junction this weekend apple picking!
It gets VERY crowded on weekends so make sure to get there early and go straight to the apple picking.
They have a cider house with hard cider and other drinks, food trucks, food stands with really good Mexican food, fresh lemonade, cider donuts, a nice shopping area with fresh honey, maple syrup & all sorts of treats. There are some farm animals; a corn maze, and a large field the kids can run around on. Live music on weekends! Took just under 2 hours to drive there from the middle of Long Island. Nice upstate weekend day trip and the fall leaves and scenery were beautiful.
Make sure to make an apple picking reservation on their site - it’s required!
