Hyper Independence! Thank you @honeybeex_1 !!!

Sometimes being the person who always takes control isn’t just about being independent… it’s about avoiding disappointment.

If I handle it, plan it, fix it, or do it myself, then I don’t have to worry about someone else dropping the ball. But I’m realizing that always being in control can also keep you from allowing people to show up for you.

Sometimes growth looks like releasing control, allowing people to play their part, and accepting that you can’t protect yourself from every disappointment. ❤️

Anybody else struggle with this? 👀

This is so real! Thank you for sharing, I totally feel it. But yeah, we have to move with OUR best intentions while letting other people do what they’re gonna do and then reacting appropriately to that, even if it means they may not respond the way we would hope. It’s the “let them” theory I guess xx

It sounds like a Capricorn characteristic.
