How to make a witch’s broomstick. Traditionally, the handle of a witch’s broomstick is cut from an ash tree or a hazel bush. Sadly because of the terrible disease ‘Ash Dieback’ I would strongly recommend using hazel for your broomstick handle. Hazel is strong and usually produces straight stems. Hazel bushes benefit from being cut to the ground level (a process called coppicing) and this produces new, long, straight and healthy stems. Bristles are traditionally made from Birch brushwood (twigs). Ideally you would use the flexible stems of willow to bind your brushwood to the hazel handle. However, I also used wire to give mine extra strength. I would recommend making your broomstick the same height as you are tall. Perhaps even a bit longer. The extra length to the handle makes it much easier to use in the garden and it looks much better than one of those short, cheap, nasty things that you can buy from a supermarket. Happy Halloween
It’s true what they say about Suwannee!! The fPL mycelium network tapped right in to the dream on the stream at Hulaween.. and it was sublime vibes indeed!! so much so that we blew the electrical fuse on the stages power service … Twice! After the 2nd time we realized that connecting the lucid stream to the energy at the festival was the only way to release the energy and stabilize the swirl Swirl Science Dude! 🤣 thank you for tuning in at the last minute ya’ll Space Bus has reached cruising altitude & the dimezone elevator is engaged ↗️👆🏻🆙 Love & Gratitude to all contributors of creative energy & conduits of vibrational uplift 🙏🏻🌀🚎 #portalsarepossible 🎞️ @mixedmedia
Throwing it back to this Samba from The Next Pro, the show that gave me my dream. ❤️ I will always have a special love for traditional Latin and ballroom dancing. There’s something so powerful about a pure Samba, staying true to its roots, its technique, its rhythm, and most importantly, its character. That’s exactly what I wanted to capture through this choreography. That raw, authentic, and vulnerable side of Latin dancing is what made me fall in love with it in the first place, and it’s what I’ll continue to carry with me. I feel so lucky that I get to live out my passion and share my love for dance every single week on dancing with the Stars iconic stage⭐️
