WHAT A WIN FOR MALTA! ๐ฒ๐น๐ฅ
Huge congratulations to the Malta Rugby League team on a remarkable 29โ28 victory over Germany โ a historic result that saw the Malta Knights become the first visiting side to beat Germany on home soil! ๐
The Knights produced an incredible comeback after finding themselves 22โ6 down at half-time, showing tremendous character and determination to turn the game around.
A special mention to former Overseas player Zarrin Galea, now with Workington Town, who was instrumental in the comeback with a sensational hat-trick of tries. What a performance! ๐ฒ๐น๐ฅ
Weโre incredibly proud that nine Overseas players were part of the Malta squad โ the largest contingent from any local club. ๐โ
Representing your country is the ultimate honour any sports person can achieve, and one that very few get the opportunity to experience. For our nine players, this is a moment they will remember for the rest of their lives.
Weโll continue to support our players as they pursue their national ambitions and proudly represent Malta on the international stage.
Congratulations to all the players, coaches and staff on a famous victory! ๐ฒ๐น๐โ

Yes. It was a great game. It was a lot of fun to watch. And at the beginning I was sure that our team would win. But you fought well and deserved to win. Congratulations on this victory. Many greetings from Germany.
