⭐ THE ARABIAN NIGHTS - Through Our Eyes ⭐
.
We invite you to see the world of Arabian Nights, over the next two months, through our eyes.
.
The Arabian Nights is a beloved extravaganza in the Nrityakosh repertoire of work. We first showcased our version of the tale in 2018 as "Scheherazade's Web". In 2023, we brought a layered narrative into The Arabian Nights with stories functioning on three levels - the stories themselves, Scheherazade's own story and the genies' meta-narrative. Each time, we have done something new with these stories!
.
This time, the Arabian Nights is coming back bigger - with newer stories and beloved characters! 70 dancers will be bringing these stories to life on Nov 28th at Meenakshi Rangamancha.
Our students and dancers will be taking you through the process of creating a production like this. Stay tuned to this page!
