Well, I finally finished the Armageddon Ork Warboss. Loved painting this chap, he kinda reset my hobby a little for me. An absolute joy to paint and tried a couple of new things, definitely got to practice chequers a fair amount and some new techniques for leather which I was quite happy with. And of course I got to paint some green skin tones which I really enjoyed.
Thanks for all the encouragement you lot gave as I painted him up and to @simonsbrushwork for the inspiration of your own version of this miniature.

@paulkidd1977 well great job seeing how it goes, all variation in tones on the skin really bring it to life, glad you enjoyed it, keep it up!

Beautiful job on the skin, oozing life (pink elbows!) and leather texture is gorgeous. Also big fan of the banner, especially the back - great highlighting and muck! Congrats on a lovely piece.

I’ve seen some really elaborate takes on this guy but this might be my fave. Just a great classic look.
