Women around the world have spent years hearing “there’s nothing we can do” for endometriosis pain. Today that hopefully changes. The FDA recently cleared the first-in-class treatment designed to actually destroy endometriosis lesions. Not just mask the pain, not just suppress your hormones, but target the disease at the root. And it claims to preserve fertility while doing it. This isn’t a new pain pill. This is the first therapy in development that goes after the lesions themselves. We’re not at the finish line. This clears the way for human trials, and not yet for prescription use. But after decades of women being told to “manage” this disease, we finally have a shot at treating it. 190 million women worldwide live with endometriosis. It’s time the science caught up to them. This is what progress looks like 🩷

When we say “living unapologetically”, it’s much deeper than just a hair colour, fashion choices and cosmetic choices. There so, so much more to women than the way we look. 👀 I still think I’m fun though 😜
5 years as a Division I track & field athlete to now being 2 1/2 years into working in corporate finance, and somewhere along the way I convinced myself that I needed to still be a college athlete to train and compete like one. After college, I got comfortable going through the motions in the gym, stopped incorporating as much explosive training, and honestly wasn’t challenging myself the way I used to. I think a part of me felt like that chapter of my life was over. Being able to compete at @apexathlete.official this past weekend was such a fun reminder of how much I love pushing myself, being competitive, and surrounding myself with people who have that same drive. It reminded me that even with a full-time career, there’s still room to chase goals, compete, and challenge myself in new ways. Just because your college athletic career ends doesn’t mean you stop being an athlete!!! 🤍 Huge thank you to @drinkdottir for bringing together such an amazing group of strong, inspiring women! So grateful for the experience, the friendships, and the opportunity to represent a brand with such a meaningful mission! 🫶🏼 📸: the best @corbsphotos #apex #fitness #motivation #formerathlete #fitnesslife
