It’s Banned Books Week at Murrow Library.
Every year, books are challenged or removed from schools and libraries because of their ideas, language, characters, or subject matter. Banned Books Week draws attention to those challenges and to the freedom to read, question, explore, and make our own choices about what we read.
This week, stop by Murrow Library to explore our display of banned and challenged books. You may be surprised by some of the titles you find there.
Let books be.
October 5–9 at Murrow Library.
