Between shades of gray???? What??? This book is one of my favorite and I read close to 75-100 books annually from a wide spectrum. It is such a stunning book.

So many of my favorites! The only plane, Anne, Emma, and Between Shades of Gray. Loved reading The Will of the Many with you! I liked First Time Caller but it wasn’t my favorite. I need to read A Girl Called Samson.

The Only Plane in the Sky was truly great. I listened to the audiobook and wholeheartedly recommend it. Very serious topic of course it’s 9/11, but it’s also a story of courage and resilience.

Have you read Blue Castle by LM Montgomery? It’s one I stumbled upon that was a surprise five star read for me. I just loved how simple and sweet, but captivating it was!

Awesome no DNFs! Same, I thought First Time Caller was Okay, but I really enjoyed the next book, And Now, Back to You. Idk what it was 🤷♀️

I’m so happy you loved Anne and the Ornithologists!! Such a bummer that you didn’t love The Knave and the Moon though. I have that up next and now I’m scared 🙈 I still need to read The Strength of the Few. I think I might need to re-read The Will of the Many first though because it’s been so long since I read it!

Also love EML and TWOTM! And agreed The Knave and the Moon was just okay. I was also sad about that but I totally will still read Rachel Gillig in the future
