Lake Katwe, Uganda.

I met him by the lake, still a child, yet already part of its daily rhythm. With his sister, he spends long hours between the water, the salt and a small makeshift boat.

I gave him some school supplies and a little toy car. In seconds, his face lit up and he simply became a child again.

That moment stayed with me. Sometimes, something very small can reopen a child’s imagination 💭 and with it, the possibility of another future.

From Dusk Till Dawn is also about that: the lives, childhoods and dreams behind the beauty of the landscape.
