🍁 It’s autumn (no really it is!) and the Broadway Beret pattern is a simple way to work Fair Isle panels together (none of the huge number of stitches all in one go!) 🍁

The pattern is specially designed for knitters who want to build up their skills in Fair Isle knitting on a smaller scale, with easy instructions and a full colour chart.

In true vintage style, the Broadway Beret is made up of segments, each knitted separately, then put together into the finished shape. This was already a popular way of making berets in the 1940s, (it’s much easier than a whole beret in one go ! 😉) and I’ve adapted the shaping and stitch pattern for modern knitting in 4 ply yarn.
