If you’re always the one teaching, leading, speaking, pouring out, and giving the answers… when are you being challenged?

There’s a danger in always being the smartest person in the room. Eventually, every room starts confirming what you already know instead of exposing you to what you don’t.

If your life is all output and no input, your influence may be expanding while your perspective is shrinking.

Growth requires rooms where you listen more than you speak. Conversations that challenge your assumptions. People who know things you don’t. Books that make you rethink what you thought you knew.

Being needed can feel like growth because everyone is pulling something from you. But pouring out is not the same as growing.

Sometimes the next level isn’t another room where you have something to teach.

It’s finding a room where you have something to learn.

So look at your calendar.
