Jensen asked for a somersault. The robots actually did it. 🤯🦆 During NVIDIA’s GTC Berlin event, Jensen Huang showed off Microduck, a small robot from Hugging Face and Pollen Robotics. The cool part is how it learns. The robot can practice movements in a virtual world first, then try those same movements in real life. During the demo, Jensen asked the robots to do a somersault, and two of them pulled it off. It looks funny, but this is how AI is starting to learn physical skills before using them in the real world. What are your thoughts? Source: NVIDIA #ai #robotics #nvidia #huggingface
I still remember the first time I met Gracy (Toshi) on the roadside, eating garbage. 🥺❤️ And look at her today! I went to meet her at her parents' home with a little surprise — beautiful dresses for her and her lovely sister Tasha. Seeing both of them so happy and excited in their new outfits made my day. They deserve all the love, comfort and happiness in the world. ❤️🐾 Dress from @pawsitive.india . . . . . . . . . Every survivor deserves to be believed and protected. Yet far too many continue to face a system that fails them when they need protection the most. Today, I hosted my Domestic Violence Policy Roundtable, bringing together survivors, advocates, law enforcement leaders, and policy experts to discuss the challenges victims face and the changes we must continue fighting for. We heard deeply personal and heartbreaking stories from courageous survivors and families who have lost loved ones to domestic violence. Their experiences remind us of the devastating consequences when our systems fail to protect victims before it is too late. I want to especially thank our survivors, advocates, and policy panelists for sharing their experiences, expertise, and commitment to protecting victims: 💜 Denise Richards 💜 Terra Newell 💜Karen Chun 💜 Jazmin Villanueva 💜 Pallavi Dhawan — Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office 💜 Carmen McDonald — Survivor Justice Center 💜 David Piller — YWCA 💜 Tracy Evanson — Healed Women Heal 💜 Pat Bell — House of Ruth I want to also thank Giovanna Martinez from the Women’s & Children’s Crisis Shelter for moderating this important discussion, and to Connor Sheets from the Los Angeles Times for his continued reporting on domestic violence and helping bring survivors’ stories and the challenges they face to light. As a domestic violence survivor with three restraining orders — with the most recent one just months ago, I know how difficult it can be to navigate a system that is supposed to protect us. These conversations are essential to identifying the gaps in our laws and shaping the legislation we bring forward. Thank you to everyone who joined us today, including our community partners, my police department who I work so closely with, and advocates who continue fighting for survivors. The stories shared today will stay with me as we prepare for the legislative battles ahead. We cannot wait for another tragedy to take action. 💜 #SenatorSusanRubio #DomesticViolenceAwareness #SurvivorVoices #StrongerProtections #SenatorSusanRubioAvdocates
