To emphasize his point, Nawat cited the Netherlands as an example, highlighting how its representative secured the 2nd Runner-Up title without spending a single penny on voting. His statement challenges the notion that financial spending alone can guarantee success in the competition.

“If anyone thinks money guarantees a win, they’re wrong. The Netherlands didn’t spend a single penny on voting, yet she still finished as 2nd Runner-Up.”

👑 Does this put an end to the ongoing discussions about money, voting, and placements at Miss Grand International? What are your thoughts, pageant fans?

🛒 NOT IN MY TROLLY! 🍉

Today, Boaters Rising joined NOT IN MY TROLLY at the National Demonstration for Palestine, alongside other groups, including health workers and BDS.

We came dressed in fruit and veg costumes, bringing a fun, performative element to the demonstration to catch people’s attention and encourage them to sign the petition!

The campaign is calling on ASDA to boycott all Israeli produce and products, from fresh vegetables to baby wipes.

Campaigning can be creative, colourful and full of energy, while keeping the focus on the message and the action we want to see.

🍎 Haven’t heard of NOT IN MY TROLLY? Check out their campaign and sign the petition calling on ASDA to stop selling Israeli produce and products.
