🎉PARTNERS OF LEMUEL 🎉

To celebrate our 9th Anniversary, we've chosen some of our beloved local partners that have transformed our handcrafted chocolates into more delicious and innovative menu items all around Singapore 🍫

We recently had the honour of partnering with @1872clippertea on a curated tea pairing session "From Vine to Leaf". It was an elegant celebration of their dedication to Sri Lankan teas and how they can transform given the right partners.

It was a delightful experience to taste the different pairings, and introduce a myriad of ways to enjoy the humble black tea everyone knows and loves 🫖

Here's to heritage, care and transparency in sourcing & ingredients.

DAY TWO….. What a FUN day with my travel bestie @SheSheShow all planned by @NinaOrnstein and @TheParadiseStory !! We started our morning with our very own private driver 🚗 from @tsprivatetransportation and what a treat to have our own car service! They were so professional, accommodating, and made getting around SO easy!

Our first stop was the colorful town of TODOS SANTOS! 🩷❤️🧡 This charming little town is full of colorful buildings, art galleries, darling boutiques, and so much character. I could have spent ALL DAY there and never get tired of it! And the backdrops for photo shoots are AMAZING! Of course, shopping and taking pictures are part of our job…. and we both LOVE it!! 🛍️

We made our way to @EllaBellaBrand a charming boutique owned by designer Joella. She’s done such a beautiful job creating a collection of fun and colorful, boho-like clothing! In fact, we wore her designs almost our ENTIRE trip! We were lucky enough to spend the morning photographing her pieces against all those colorful Todos Santos backdrops! 📸

Next our driver took us just a few blocks away to another of Joella’s businesses, PURA VIDA! What a GEM! It’s a wonderful little spot for healthy eating, with a smoothie bar, and shopping too. 🥗 We enjoyed a fabulous brunch full of veggies and all things healthy…. my kind of meal! But to be honest, I couldn’t resist a cookie! OH MY GOODNESS, was it GOOD! Such a beautiful, relaxing atmosphere and the perfect place to unwind ofter our busy morning!

Finally, it was back to @CasaDeSurfo for a relaxing evening by the pool, where I got to model MORE of Joella’s gorgeous swimwear! What a day!! So much color, fashion, delicious food, and FUN! This is exactly what makes traveling with SheShe so special! 🥰👯‍♀️💕

Every year I think ADE can’t possibly get any better… and somehow, every year it does!

From Wednesday night till midday… (might’ve been Tuesday morning😅) WHAT A RIDE! So many beautiful people, incredible music, unforgettable moments and endless inspiration.

Feeling beyond grateful to be doing what I love and enjoying every second of this crazy ride.

Так сказала моя покойная бабушка Нина своему мужу, моему деду,

году эдак в 70-м.

Они жили в маленьком поселке на берегу залива.
В поселке была одна единственная школа, где бабушка работала учительницей географии. У моей бабушки уже было двое маленьких детей, а ещё свекровь, которая жила в нескольких домах от них, и любила наведываться в гости — и рассказывать бабушке, как вести быт, жить жизнь и воспитывать детей.

Бабушке в какой-то момент это осточертело.
И вместо того, чтобы скандалить со свекровью, она сказала: это твоя мать, или ты с ней разберешься сам — или мы разведемся.

Развестись. В маленьком поселке. В семидесятые.

Бабушка рассказала мне эту историю в 2019 году.

Я приехала к ней в гости одна. Родители предлагали поехать всем вместе, но я сказала: нет, это моё отдельное время. И приехала на автобусе.

Несколько дней мы неловко говорили о неважных вещах,
а потом стали говорить о важных.

«Не выходи замуж, пока не узнаешь, кто ты, чего хочешь
и не будешь хорошо чувствовать себя сама по себе»

Я смотрела на бабушку, сидевшую напротив меня за застеленным клеенкой столом, и не верила своим ушам. Бабушки такое обычно не говорят, ведь так?

«Но я, конечно, же так не сделала, вышла замуж за дедушку, пока еще училась в институте», — весело подмигнула бабушка.

Моя бабушка была первой женщиной в семье, у которой было высшее образование.

С 15 лет она жила одна, учившись сначала в педучилище в Краснодаре, а потом в институте в Ростове-на-Дону.

Бабушка была упрямой и своевольной женщиной.

Она на всё имела своё мнение, никого не слушала, была строгой, но справедливой. Я похожа на бабушку. Она всегда говорила: «Никого не осуждай и не лезь в бесполезные выяснения отношений. У всех свои дела и взгляды». Эта мантра осталась где-то внутри: смотри и слушай перед тем, как сделай быстрый вывод о ком-то.

У бабушки всегда были деньги.

Когда родились внуки, она открыла всем вклады, которые, конечно, к моменту их закрытия не принесли почти ничего. Она записывала всё: когда посадила огурцы, когда приехали и уехали внуки, когда умер сосед. Всё было в одной тетради.
