Halloween often presents darkness, death, fear, demons, ghosts, witchcraft, and images of death and horror as entertainment, but the Christian life moves in the opposite direction: from darkness to light, from death to life, from fear to hope in Christ. Scripture says, โ€œYou were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of lightโ€ (Ephesians 5:8), and Christ Himself says, โ€œI am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of lifeโ€ (John 8:12). In the Orthodox Church, the Sunday of All Saints is celebrated on the first Sunday after Pentecost, showing that the saints are the fruit of the Holy Spirit poured out upon the Church. In the West, however, the feast of All Saints gradually came to be celebrated on November 1, especially from the 8thโ€“9th centuries, and October 31 became its eve โ€” โ€œAll Hallowsโ€™ Eve,โ€ later called Halloween. Saint John Chrysostom repeatedly warned Christians not to imitate pagan or superstitious customs simply because society accepts them, but to let every part of life be shaped by Christ. Saint Paul likewise asks, โ€œWhat fellowship has light with darkness?โ€ (2 Corinthians 6:14). For an Orthodox Christian, the goal is not to glorify fear, occult imagery, death, or demonic themes, even โ€œfor fun,โ€ but to celebrate Christโ€™s victory over death, the holiness of His saints, and the light of eternal life. We do not belong to darkness; we belong to the Light. โ˜ฆ๏ธ Credit: @_light_walkers_ #dontcelebratehalloween #halloweenispagan #spiritualawareness #spiritualawakening #christianmessage

Hello everyone, We just wanted to take a minute to say thank you all for your love and support over the years! We are sharing all this to you because we value our supporters and want to be transparent with our decision. This is a mutual decision between us, and we request that you respect and support our choice. As we continue to navigate this new chapter weโ€™ll both be writing in our individual lives. Though we cannot express how grateful and appreciative of how yaโ€™ll have been here, even from the very beginning! We would also really appreciate if you guys could also not fight about whoโ€™s right and whoโ€™s wrong, thereโ€™s just no room for all that negativity. If yaโ€™ll could just remember the love and laughs we brought to everyone over the years. As this is not the end but a beginning to something brand new. We love all of you! -Scott & Divine
