FIELD NOTES | GEORGIA

Georgia is often overlooked in conversations around contemporary art, but scratch beneath the surface and there’s a real smorgasbord of artists, influences and ideas.

For our latest Field Notes, we’ve selected six very different artists, spanning generations, career stages and styles. From traditional influences and established painters to abstraction, conceptual work and the more urban edge of Tbilisi, each has developed a visual language entirely their own.

Six artists. Six perspectives. One art scene worth checking out.
