How many little white houses fit on one canvas? I stopped counting.

Spanish white village.
Oil on canvas, 70 x 90.

All those houses stacked up the hill, one on top of the other. Red roofs, tiny windows, a green shutter here and there. From far away it looks simple. White. But white is never just white when you paint it. There's blue in it, and pink, and grey where the shadows fall. Every wall a bit different.
It took patience. A lot of it.
