POV: You tell someone to “go back to your own country” and think no one is filming...

Meet Ava.

Oct 14, 6pm - Coffman Memorial Union, University of Minnesota campus. While Riley Gaines was speaking at a TPUSA event, this happened outside.

And her friends just laughed.
@dwillmodel knows the person who she was yelling at. This type of egregious behavior should never be okay or normalized‼️

*UPDATE AT THE END OF THE VIDEO - please watch to the end.

There is ZERO joy in posting this. This is shameful. But ha+e needs to be called out.

St. Thomas & UMN - this violates your code of conduct. Do better.

We must keep speaking up against this type of behavior.

Chicken wing is for eating, not for golf ☺️

1. It loses distance (cuts down power)
When your lead elbow bends, you lose leverage and power, which makes the ball go much shorter.

2. It causes inconsistent contact
It changes the swing path, which leads to frequent slices, tops, or fat shots.

3. It increases the risk of injury
It puts unnecessary strain and tension on your elbow and shoulder instead of using natural body rotation.

“HE’S WHAT?!” - this was my reaction to finding out that not only was the hero of our story still alive, but even better, he was working as a tour guide for the museum just down the road.

I begged the producers to give him a cameo but this was the evening before the shoot, so chances were slim. But challenge an @itsthegrandtour producer and they will always rise to the occasion.

A mere 12 hours later, THE Klaus-Gunter Jacobi - who modified that isetta to deceive the border guards and save lives over 60 years ago - was sporting a Hollywood smile in the modernized version, the @microlino_official . An amazing man to meet, and so glad he made it in. It was only a 10 minute film, a brief flash in the scope of the season, but the whole thing felt very special to make.

IF there is a second season, I hope we get to make more historical pieces like this.

As a side note, it’s weird to think that if lives depended on crossing the border in my very own Isetta… well, things wouldn’t be so peachy, but video coming on that very soon.

Fun mini story: the guards, who were brilliant actors and made it all feel so genuinely evil, were performing during some significantly cold temps. The man who knocks on my window for papers felt particularly evil. When the cameras were paused, because I felt the need to break the tension, I said “you must be freezing mate”.

In that moment he dropped the flashlight down, smiled at me, and in the kindest bubbliest voice (he’d only been mean until this point) just said “no, I have zese lovely feet vwarmers in my shoes and zey are so great.” What a lad.

This CRV driver decided the turn signal was all they needed to whip a quick u-turn from the right lane on Monroe Road, effectively totaling two cars.
