I am deeply saddened by the tragic loss of 25 lives in the Nigerian Air Force aircraft crash in Igbokoda, Ondo State.

My heart goes out to the families and loved ones of the 20 passengers and five crew members who lost their lives in this heartbreaking incident. This is a painful loss not only to their families and friends, but also to their colleagues, communities and the nation.

Behind every life lost is a family, a story and people who will now have to live with the pain of an unexpected absence. At a time like this, words may not be enough to ease the grief, but our thoughts, prayers and solidarity remain with everyone affected.

I extend my deepest condolences to the bereaved families, the Nigerian Air Force and all those mourning this great loss. I pray that Almighty God grants eternal rest to the departed and gives their families, colleagues and loved ones the strength, comfort and fortitude to bear this difficult moment.

May God continue to protect the men and women who serve our nation and grant wisdom and guidance to those working to establish the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident.

My thoughts and prayers remain with every family affected by this heartbreaking loss.

May the souls of the departed rest in perfect peace.
