Caesars brought in $2.94 BILLION in revenue last quarter and still reported a $123 MILLION net loss. Last year’s comparable loss was $55 million. More revenue, more than double the loss. Here in Las Vegas, their revenue dropped 2.3%, and adjusted earnings fell 9.5%. Meanwhile, their regional casino revenue GREW. Maybe it’s time to ask what the hell you’re doing to the Vegas experience. People have choices. They don’t have to fly here, pay for parking, get hit with resort fees, and spend a fortune on food and drinks just to feel like they’re being squeezed at every turn. My message to casino executives is simple: give people VALUE. Give them great service. Give them a reason to come back. Stop treating every customer like a wallet you need to empty. You can cut costs all day, but you can’t cut your way into customer loyalty. Vegas was built on hospitality. Start acting like it. Make Vegas Vegas Again.
