Time to give it my best shot and enjoy. Be kind @ironmanportugal Cascais ๐Ÿซก
Iโ€™ve been dealing with something behind the scenes for the past couple weeks. one of my existing moles that Iโ€™ve always had started changing colors, so I went to the derm to get it removed. I didnโ€™t think anything of it. 10 days goes by and they call me to say itโ€™s melanoma. after going back in to get more skin removed, tests showed that the cancer cells were deep enough to where I needed to get an extra 6 inches of skin removed as well as my lymph node to see if it had spread anywhere else in my body. they expedited me & got me into surgery less than one week from finding out how deep it was. it all happened so fast and I could barely even process what was happening. I went into surgery on Tuesday and I was the youngest melanoma patient by 50 years. Iโ€™m sitting there thinking why did this happen to me at such a young age? how could this be? why why why. by Godโ€™s grace, I just received a phone call from the doctor saying my lymph node came back negative and Iโ€™m clear of cancer. praise Jesus. I am so beyond thankful for every single person that has prayed for me the past couple days. I felt so confused, terrified and weak to pray on my own in some moments. those thoughts and prayers from others carried me through. after the first 3 days of hearing the โ€œCโ€ word, I was so anxious and couldnโ€™t sleep, but after that, I had a wave of peace wash over me that helped me sleep through the night. thank you Jesus for healing me. โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿฉน โ€œMy thoughts are higher than your thoughts, my ways are higher than your ways.โ€ Isaiah 55:8-9 I wonโ€™t be able to workout for a little while. just hot girl walks, rest and immense gratitude for the foreseeable future ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป
