You probably know the Qaweeyah who volunteers, speaks in public, takes on responsibilities and is always trying to get things done.

But there’s also the Qaweeyah who loves a good laugh. 😂

The one who can spend way too much time choosing what to wear.

The one who enjoys good conversations and can gist for Africa when I’m comfortable with you. 😂

The one who enjoys watching cartoons 😂😂

The one who has a soft spot for beautiful fabrics and can get genuinely excited about colours, patterns and textures

The one who enjoys those simple moments that don't need to be productive or impressive.

I think sometimes people meet us through our achievements and forget that there’s a whole personality behind them.

So, this is your reminder:

I’m not always in “serious mode.” 😂

There’s a playful, chatty, creative and very ordinary side of me too.

And honestly, I like that side of me. 🤍
