We have baby fossa! 🎉 Mango and Makira have successfully given birth to triplets. This troublesome trio are now almost 3 months old, and are still spending a lot of their time offshow with mum. However, they have started exploring the onshow areas for short bursts during the day. These baby fossas have been born into the European Breeding Programme, creating a safety net population for this incredible species - preventing them from extinction.

The other night Nova told me she’s been writing poetry & asked if she could read it to me. I got so excited because I love poetry & have been writing since I was about her age. She’s only 11 years old. So admittedly I wasn’t expecting something super profound or deep if I’m being completely honest. But then she read the title first “Jane Doe’s Bows” & I was a bit shocked. Because I talked to her about Jane Doe’s situation one morning when she saw it on the news. So we had a long, intense, but necessary conversation. I thought that was it. She never mentioned it again or asked any more questions about it. Then she started reading it out loud & I just had to record it. Because after she was done. I was very moved & so impressed with her capacity to not only understand such complex situations, but the ability to alchemize them into art. I’m SO proud of this girl! She never ceases to amaze me & I’m so blessed & honored to be her father! 🥹🫶😭🙏 #GirlDad #NovaleeReign #WomensRights #JaneDoe #Cornell
