What’s The Best Way to Store Your Sourdough Starter?

Your sourdough starter is a live, active culture made of wild yeast and lactic acid bacteria. How you store and maintain it can impact its strength and performance.

🌡️ COUNTER:
Warmer temps keep your starter’s microorganisms more active. Daily feedings replenish nutrients and make your starter strong and predictable.

❄️ FRIDGE:
Cold temps slow down activity and fermentation. That means your starter needs to be fed less often.

But the fridge can also reduce yeast activity and weaken your starter over time.

✨ You can store your starter in the fridge and keep it strong and healthy….as long as you take care of it.

If your starter does get weak, you can usually strengthen and rebalance it.

Personally, I keep mine on the counter because I bake A LOT. But the “right” way to store it is whatever works for you and your lifestyle 💛

I like to cuddle until the sun comes up, can I be your type? 🥹☺️

Meru aspiring politician Gaki Bensouda, who is eyeing the Tigania MP seat, is trending online after alleged voice notes capturing a heated altercation between her and her daughter surfaced. In the recordings, the daughter is heard calling for help and warning her mother that her political career could be over if she releases the audio.

The incident has sparked mixed reactions, with some netizens defending Gaki and insisting that children must respect their parents, while others have condemned the alleged physical confrontation, arguing that Gen Zs have become too disrespectful towards their parents.

However, the reason behind the altercation remains unclear, and I could not find reliable reporting establishing what triggered the confrontation. #gakibensouda

If you’ve been waiting for a sign to FINALLY start creating content, this is it! ✨

At the Mom 2.0 Day of Wellness, @_jen_hamilton_ reminded us of something every woman creator needs to hear: YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE PERFECT TO GET STARTED.

Not perfectly polished. Not perfectly scripted. Not with the latest equipment, the best lighting, or a picture-perfect background.

Just YOU, showing up and sharing what you have to offer.

With more than 10 MILLION followers across platforms, Jen shared that she still doesn’t have a content calendar, a script, or even a ring light! 🤯

And if that doesn’t remind you that authenticity will always have a place in content creation, we don’t know what will!

Your voice matters. Your experiences matter. And the content you’re overthinking might be exactly what someone else needs to see.

So post the video. Share the story. START BEFORE YOU FEEL READY. 💛

And if you’re ready to surround yourself with women who will inspire you to grow, create, and show up boldly, we have a seat waiting for you!

✨ Join us at the Mom 2.0 Summit in Las Vegas this April 2027!
