I have a tough financial decision to make. I took Hubbard in to see the ophthalmologist, to find out if he's a candidate for cataract surgery to restore his sight. Luckily, he is. But here's the catch. The doctor said he's had these cataracts for years and years and the dumbed down version that I could understand is it makes his eyes weaker. The surgery is still an option, but the success rates are at 70% instead of the 90% expected for most dogs.
The surgery isn't cheap, and it's gone up $1200 from the last time I took Cat the dog in for it. I'm notoriously bad with money, so I'll probably go for it. But at the same time, I need to be somewhat practical since I'm living off of my retirement.

I threw in a couple other pics from the last several days, and the last one is a video of Alice circumventing the footstool iI put in a chair to keep him out. (He has his own chair that he's ruined, so I'd like to keep this one for myself. ). I shouldn't be surprised by his antics, but somehow I always am.

I see where a lot of these comments are going, and no I don't want to do a fundraiser, or have people donate. the decision to keep so many senior dogs is mine and they're my responsibility. But as i've said in the past, i'm lucky enough sometimes to get promotions for products i believe in, and that helps offset these costs.

Our journey to Toronto was such a seamless experience, from check-in to the journey back home✨

We started with Lufthansa Allegris Business Class, with smooth check-in, delicious food, and an incredibly comfortable flatbed. I slept so well that I woke up just 30 minutes before landing! Our Frankfurt transit was quick and effortless.

Flying Air Canada Signature Class from Frankfurt to Toronto and back was equally wonderful, with thoughtful service, delicious meals, a great entertainment selection, and amazing Wi-Fi that made working on board so easy.

On our way back to Mumbai, we experienced Lufthansa Premium Economy, with spacious seating, plenty of legroom, and comfortable recliner seats.

Grateful to Lufthansa and Air Canada for making our journey so comfortable and seamless, every step of the way. 🤍✈️

Hyderabad → Frankfurt → Toronto, with @lufthansa Business Class and @aircanada Signature Class.
