Global Peace Development

Under the Local Rights Programme (LRP), with support from @actionaidnigeria , GPD has been taking advocacy training to communities across Delta State.

Community members were introduced to advocacy approaches and how to identify and prioritise the issues in their communities. They also looked at how governance and accountability systems work, how to communicate with duty bearers and stakeholders, and how to plan collective action together.

The aim is community-led advocacy and governance that responds to the people it serves.
