Trends are a flash in the pan. They’re cool when they’re new and fresh, but soon the whole world is doing them. They lose their value because they’ve become common.

There is no style that is good or bad. The question still remains - is a story being told, is an emotion being driven. If the answer is YES, then thats cinematic filmmaking. Some people wont get it, it's Jazz baby!

Thank you @markandrewbone Well said. I was starting to think maybe I’m not a good editor because I just have never been that flashy fast type of editor. Definitely like the style of just sitting in moments. Thanks for the authority you bring to the realm of storytelling

Instagram = wooshes, any actual real work = no wooshes, and actually telling a story for people that have enough brain to comprehend something other than what amounts to a bunch of flashes. Soon it'll just be colours no actual subject 🤣
