FOTODOKS

We’re happy to welcome Ilaria Sponda (@ilariasponda) as our new colleague to the @fotodoksmunich team!

FOTODOKS is an international festival for contemporary documentary photography in Munich, dedicated to advancing expanded documentary practices through photography and moving images.

Following social and political lines of enquiry, FOTODOKS brings together diverse perspectives and approaches to contemporary documentary practices.

And we’re already looking ahead: the next FOTODOKS festival will take place in 2027 — and our next Open Call will launch soon!

We’re looking forward to discovering new photographic projects, perspectives and voices from around the world. Stay tuned for more details and make sure to mark the date!
