PAID WRITING OPPORTUNITY: ART PREVIEWS WRITER

This would involve writing five previews each issue (the first one covers December and January, then Buzz’s publishing schedule is monthly from February to November) – one of 250 words (approx) and four of 160 words (approx) each.
Copy deadline will normally be round the middle of the month – Mon 16 Nov for the Dec/Jan issue.



Ahead of writing the previews each month, you’ll liaise with Noel (Buzz listings/content editor) to confirm what will be featured. Ideally we’ll share suggestions with each other until we’ve got our preferred items to cover!



There may also be opportunities to write longer editorial on people/events related to the Welsh art scene, if that interests you.



Previous writing experience (be that on Welsh art or anything else) is not required but an enthusiasm for the topic at hand, and an ability to express that enthusiasm in your writing, is what we’re looking for!
