Still hurts, but so true. Walking away to prioritize my emotional safety because he wouldn't was the hardest decision I've ever had to make. 💔 I wish I could say I didn't still question it, but in the end, I know I deserve someone who truly wants to protect my heart and help me feel safe, over protecting his ego or the need for his "autonomy" - I.e. external validation from other women.
