Elizabeth Hurley on the importance of being breast cancer aware at every age This morning, I spoke to Elizabeth Hurley in honour of the Estée Lauder Companies and their Breast Cancer Campaign. Elizabeth has been part of the Estée Lauder family for 31 years now as their global brand ambassador, and October is always a special month for their partnership as it marks Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Here she shares a little of their story to now, and also explains some of the more recent developments in breast cancer research, with helpful tips on what we women need to know to be more body aware. I want to send the world’s biggest thank you to Elizabeth for spending the time with me today. I was laughing to her this morning that I truly can’t be professional around her because it’s just too exciting to be sat with her! And it’s an extra special treat not only to see Damian but have him capture the entire video for us with love! They are just the loveliest family and I can completely understand why this partnership has been so longstanding the more I get to see them. Also sending my biggest thank you to Kim for organising this time for me. Last year when we shared something similar, I was really moved to hear from several ladies who had a check they’d been putting off and unfortunately had reason to be grateful that they did. It was a huge wake up call that sharing stories can be a powerful thing, and I’m so delighted to share Elizabeth’s today. Thank you so much for having me, Kim! I hope you enjoy watching, and please visit the Estée Lauder website for lots of helpful resources when it comes to learning more about breast cancer. We filmed this at Future Dreams House in London today, and I have to say the entire team there (and many of the ladies I met visiting) were just so incredibly friendly. If you have time this evening, I’d love for you to visit their website too and read all about the brilliant things they do for women in the community. #TimeToEndBreastCancer ELCompanies.co.uk/BCC @elizabethhurley1 @damianhurley1 @kimdanielspr @esteelaudercompanies @futuredreamscharity @drzoewilliams
