We had a great day experimenting with Obvara Raku (also known as Baltic Raku) with our potter friend!
This technique creates a unique marbled effect on each piece by dipping red-hot pottery into a fermented yeast mixture. No two pieces turn out exactly alike!
It’s frothy, stinky, and HOT! 🥵🔥 But the results are worth it!
