I used to believe life gets easier, but I’ve reached the realization that change is a constant, and we all have a choice to grow or resist.
It’s been a wild decade. Job changes, parenthood, cross-country move, interpersonal relationships…….and everything that comes with all of those.
And looking back, there have been full identity shifts many times over. I’m a completely different version of myself than I was, much more refined, as someone who has gone through many fires. And none of it was done without my faith or community.
Growth is good, although it’s painful. And not everyone chooses that route. I’m also starting to see opportunities everywhere in front of me, which wouldn’t had been available if I didn’t choose to make courageous moves.
