Comment ‘brand’ and I’ll send you this week’s @workinghardpod episode with @graceandrewsss all about how to build a personal brand that actually gets you closer to the career and life you want The timing of this episode has worked out very well because whilst I’ve been off, there has been a lot of chat around personal brands, whether they’re worth focusing on, and why you should build one. I agree that you need to get really fucking good at something before worrying about being known for it. BUT I also believe that doing brilliant work and making sure the right people know about it are two very different things, and if you want to accelerate your career and give yourself optionality, you need the latter. And that is exactly why all those months ago when we were planning this series, I knew I wanted to create an episode all around building a personal brand. Grace was previously Brand Director at The Diary of a CEO, and has since used her own personal brand to create opportunities and build a career on her terms. She’s taking us through the exact six-step framework she uses to do it, from figuring out what you actually want to be known for to getting in front of the people who can help you get there. This isn’t just an episode for entrepreneurs or people who want to become content creators, it’s for anyone who wants to be more intentional about their career, get recognised for the work they’re doing and make sure the right opportunities actually find them. So consider this our very conveniently timed contribution to the personal brand discourse. I really hope you love it!!
Micah Parsons calls out Jayden Daniels: “Jayden Daniels probably cost my man Dan Quinn his job. And, I’m a big Jayden Daniels fan. ... Respectfully, we get coached so much on these situations. I’m a defensive player, and this sh*t is programmed to me.” 😳🍿 🎥: The Edge with Micah Parsons on @bleacherreport
